For the past 40 years, Lamont Homes has served Washington D.C. residents in need of mental and behavioral health support.
Lamont Homes is a family-run organization dedicated to a holistic commitment to service. We aim to serve.
Lamont Homes accepts donations that are consistent with our mission through our sister organization PALMs Care.
Lamont Homes was established by Arnida Lamont over 40 years ago with a mission of servicing Washington D.C.’s most vulnerable residents.
With behavioral health facilities across Northwest, Northeast, and Southwest D.C., Lamont Homes creates a dedicated community of caregivers that provide a place to call “home” for adults coming from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Lamont Homes is committed to lifting up some of Washington D.C.’s most vulnerable residents. Our approach is two-fold:
– We are committed to leveraging our resources and goodwill to provide our clients with a welcoming environment that is safe and supportive. From the quality of the residences to the interactions with our staff, our goal is for clients to truly feel at home with us.
– We are committed to community-building, both within our own organizational ecosystem of staff and clients, and also externally among our relationships with our neighbors and the D.C. community as a whole. Our commitment to hire within the communities we serve and our provision of shelter for vulnerable residents are the hallmarks of our community-building efforts.
Our vision at Lamont Homes is to help build a D.C. that values mutual respect among all of its residents. Our work seeks to create communities where people respect, value, and support each other as neighbors, regardless of background, status, or circumstance. We strive to realize this vision by providing our clients with a comfortable environment that feels like home.
Lamont Homes is always looking for qualified candidates to add to our team. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us by phone or email us at [email protected].
